The Red Cross Movement
Can people behave as they like during times of war? No, they can't. The Geneva Conventions of written rules and articles make some acts unlawful. Nearly all countries in the world have promised to follow these rules by signing up and the Red Cross ensures that these rules are followed. Among the Red Cross's tasks are to visit prisoners of war (POWs) who are protected by the Geneva Conventions, and provide them with assistance. In this game, your mission as a camp commander is to run a prisoner of war camp without violating any human rights. You must follow the humanitarian standards outlined in the Third Geneva Convention (Geneva Convention III). Throughout the game, you will be tested on your knowledge of Geneva Convention III and your skills as camp commander will be evaluated at the end of the game.
