To celebrate the launch of Tetris™, the new Apple Original Film on Apple TV+, we have released a special edition of the Tetris® game on Tetris.com! The Tetris game was created by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984 on an Electronika 60 computer. Due to the limitations of the device at the time, there weren’t graphic capabilities so Alexey designed the game using square brackets. This version of the game pays tribute to his original creation and uses classic game settings. Now you can experience what it was like to play the very first version of Tetris!
