Ruins With Fading Squares

Here is an image that is revealed by means of randomly fading in squares. No masks are used, but rather, the squares are added (dynamically) as an overlay to initially cover the image. Then, each square is given a random length of time to count down to before fading out and removing itself ultimately revealing the picture that lies beneath
