Christmas honors the birth of Jesus Christ, and to celebrate, some families go to church, decorate trees, sing songs, volunteer or donate to their communities, give gifts, and open presents from Santa Claus. Hanukkah is an eight-day Jewish holiday and traditions include lighting candles on a menorah, playing games with a dreidel, and giving gelt. Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration that honors African culture, heritage, and history. Each day, a candle is lit on a kinara.
