The Poetry Pie games offer creative play with rhymes and sounds. Select a game to play by clicking one of the thumbnail images on the table. Please note you can turn the background sounds on or off using the speaker button at the top of the page in each game. You cannot control the audio instructions from the worms, as the sound is needed to play each of the games. Pop a Pie Explore the animated kitchen. Choose your favourite worm and click on the fridge and cupboards with the sparkly glow. Find ingredients which rhyme and throw them into the Poetry Pie. If the ingredients rhyme, watch the pie explode. Have fun cleaning up the gunk! Make Some Noise This game is an open ended experience designed to encourage your child to explore and have fun with sounds. Click on a line in the poem. Pick a sound to end the sentence. After you have finished every sentence, have fun listening back to your poem. There are three poems to complete.
